Our Approach | Acumen Dynamics

Our Approach

We deliver customized outcome-based advisory services, programs and models that help people and organizations navigate and capitalize on the turbulence and disruption of the current socioeconomic environment.

Our approach is focused around three essential components – selecting, developing and empowering people at all levels, evaluating and harnessing the power of technology in appropriate and effective ways, and instilling the ability to identify and assess opportunities, to solve problems, and create value and socioeconomic wellbeing.

How We Empower People

People are an organization’s most important asset. We combine data-driven, validated, and compliant assessment instruments, tools, and methods, with years of practical hands-on experience and insights to help organizations strengthen their existing workforce, develop a talent pipeline, and create cultures of performance and inclusion.

Behavioral Styles
Motivators

We partner with TTI Success Insights a global leader of empirically validated, compliant assessment and professional development tools to support our recruiting, onboarding, and professional development work.

We Empower a 5-Generation Workforce

Socio-cultural transformation is a challenge confronting all organizations. Each generation’s radically different views on work-life balance, the loss of knowledge through Baby Boomer retirement, and a global shortage of qualified talent are all critical challenges today.

We view generational diversity as an
enormous opportunity for all organizations

As the Baby Boomer generation (1946–1964) exits the workforce, Generation X (1965-1980) is ascending to lead a workforce dominated by the Millennials (Generation Y, 1981–1996) and Generation Z’ers (1997–2012), while Generation Alpha (2013-2028) will very soon represent the fifth generation.

We help our clients meet their leadership and workforce talent needs with a combination of data-driven tools such as the TTI Success Insights assessment suite in combination with our social science know-how and expertise. We view generational diversity as an enormous opportunity for all organizations.

How We Harness Technology

The socio-technical forces associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Industry 4.0, are unprecedented. Industry 4.0 is a result of the convergence of digital, biological, and physical technologies and systems. Our team of unbiased experts can help you demystify these complicated and intertwined technologies and systems.

Working together with you, we will develop a unique and customized systems- based approach’s to help your team evaluate technology, quantify workforce needs, and identify economic opportunities to combine and empower technology and socio-technical systems to innovate and deliver value in applied, measurable, and practical ways.

Complex System of Systems

How We Create Value

Today, there is a significant shift from simply leveraging legacy approaches to imagining what’s next. Creating a culture of dynamic thinking (people-centric and opportunity seeking approaches) across organizations is essential to both navigate and capitalize on the opportunities associated with Industry 4.0, leadership succession and generational transition.

We partner with our clients and help them embrace and apply dynamic thinking principles. By teaching people and organizations to blend rigorous (qualitative and quantitative) and complementary aspects of design thinking, systems engineering and socioeconomic modeling our clients develop the capabilities to produce multiple types of innovation and master the intermediate steps to get there leading to an agile and sustainable culture of innovation.
